I had a session with carson a few weeks ago. When I first saw him he was about 4 weeks old. He is not your typical baby at all. This boy is alert, curious, strong and confident. He has quite a personality to him and the most gorgeous big brown eyes you have ever seen. Take a gander:

I photographed this baby right before Christmas, he was not even 3 weeks old. He was an absolute champ!!! Very alert for his young age, we tried to get him to sleep and he was having none of it. I am really happy with the results:

Hi Everyone,
I am so very pleased to say that I had an amazing holiday portrait season. I feel really blessed that so many people are still willing to invest in portraits of their families even in the toughest of economic times. All of the families that I photographed were friendly and relaxed and really embodied all of the qualities that I want in my clients. Thanks everyone for your patience. I started these at the end of October and I finally have all of the orders in and can rest and enjoy my own family.

I loved this session! Maternity photography with both mom and dad is so much fun and I loved how these two interacted. Mom, Elisabeth was 8 months at the time of the shoot, she is so gorgeous and her bump is beautiful!

This weekend kicked off the holiday season for me. A coupled of sessions had to be postponed due to a windy Sunday but I still got a few in. If those are any indication of how my holiday season is going to go, I cannot wait!

Angela, Shawn and Ella sat at the same table as us at my sister’s wedding. Ella was such a gorgeous and happy little girl, I just had to get them in front of my camera. We started out in Manhattan Beach but it happened to be the windiest day of the year so we had to relocate. Here is a sampling of the ones we did get at the beach.
After a few minutes we headed to Valley Park, just a short drive away. It was still windy but not gale force as it was at the beach. We managed to get some great shots.
Ella is a very fast moving and happy 14 month old!

Last Sunday was the perfect storm of wedding photography for me. Take a gorgeous and genuine couple, add in a perfect October day and finish it off with my absolute favorite venue and you have one amazing wedding.
Ann and Mike are so easy going, Ann has an Aussie accent that is to die for and Mike choose the funniest “oversized asian” to be his best man (this is funny to me because I happen to be married to another oversized half asian man). Here are some of my faves:

Ok, my sister got married 3 weeks ago and she and her new husband Chris have been back from their honeymoon for over a week and they still have not seen any pictures but hey, I was not the main photographer so I thought I could take a breather on this one.
I didn’t shoot my sister’s wedding becuase I wanted to be a guest and enjoy the day. I spent 15 minutes with her and my camera and the rest of my day was truly fabulous! I know that her photographer did an awesome job so I was relaxed and enjoyed myself. Here are a few that I did shoot:
This is one of Chris and his daughter Hannah, who is now my niece. Chris is a great person, exactly the type of man I would hope my sister would marry. Hannah is also a great person and the pair have an awesome relationship. I am so happy to have these two as part of my family.
Barb’s daughter Jenna helped her get ready, I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Boy do I feel old!
