Ann and Mike – A La Venta Wedding October 12, 2008

Last Sunday was the perfect storm of wedding photography for me. Take a gorgeous and genuine couple, add in a perfect October day and finish it off with my absolute favorite venue and you have one amazing wedding.

Ann and Mike are so easy going, Ann has an Aussie accent that is to die for and Mike choose the funniest “oversized asian” to be his best man (this is funny to me because I happen to be married to another oversized half asian man). Here are some of my faves:

My Sister’s Wedding! September 29, 2008

Ok, my sister got married 3 weeks ago and she and her new husband Chris have been back from their honeymoon for over a week and they still have not seen any pictures but hey, I was not the main photographer so I thought I could take a breather on this one.

I didn’t shoot my sister’s wedding becuase I wanted to be a guest and enjoy the day. I spent 15 minutes with her and my camera and the rest of my day was truly fabulous! I know that her photographer did an awesome job so I was relaxed and enjoyed myself. Here are a few that I did shoot:

This is one of Chris and his daughter Hannah, who is now my niece. Chris is a great person, exactly the type of man I would hope my sister would marry. Hannah is also a great person and the pair have an awesome relationship. I am so happy to have these two as part of my family.

Barb’s daughter Jenna helped her get ready, I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Boy do I feel old!

Jessica and Keith – A Wine Country Wedding August 1, 2008

Keith is the brother of Krissi who had one of my favorite weddings of 2007. This year, it is fitting that Jessica and Keith would have one of my favorite weddings of 2008. The wedding was at the Hans Fahden Winery in Calistoga, California. It was intimate and breathtaking. I had so many faves, here are just a few:

Mary and Jim – A Palos Verdes Wedding May 9, 2008

Mary and Jim had an awesome wedding last Saturday in Palos Verdes. This couple is very laid back and were up for anything. I could not have asked for better subjects. Here are some faves.

Mary has a huge, fun family which always makes for a great party. The brothers have a tradition of writing and singing a song to the couple at each family wedding. Let me tell you, it did not dissappoint!

Rebecca and Kevin – December 29th 2007 January 4, 2008

Rebecca and Kevin are the first of 3 couples referred by Krissi and JT, one of my favorite couples of the year! They had a fabulous event in Santa Barbara on Saturday coordinated byt the talented Cari Izaguirre of All Occasions Event Planning. I call it an event instead of a wedding because they actually got married a year ago in St Thomas but celebrated with their friends and family with a vow renewal. It was a relaxed and festive event at the University Club, a charming venue.

Kristen and Jeff – Wedding at Palos Verdes Golf Club October 24, 2007

Kristen and Jeff are the third wonderful couple that was referred to us by Erin and Kevin, a wedding that I loved shooting in July 2006. Thanks again Erin and Kevin!

This wedding could not have been more stunning and well planned. Kathy Recchia of Save The Date Events did an amazing job of making sure everything went off without a hitch.

Kristen and Jeff’s Country Rehearsal Dinner October 20, 2007

Last night Paul and I shot Kristen and Jeff’s rehearsal dinner. It was an awesome bash put on by Jeff’s parents, Kathy and Bud. No detail was overlooked. I put a quick SLIDESHOW together but believe me this is only a small sampling of the awesome pics we got. I cannot even imagine how great this wedding is going to be! I guess we will see in a few hours!

Megan and Corey – August 4, 2007 August 6, 2007

Megan and Corey had an awesome wedding at The Reef in Long Beach. Their wedding was relaxed and beautiful and we really felt the connection between them.
